Outreach & Visitation

Rome Baptist Temple believes in taking the Gospel to the people, not merely waiting for them to come to us. Our Outreach & Visitation ministry carries the message of salvation into our community through door-to-door visitation, hospital and nursing home visits, and street ministry efforts such as our roadside Gospel tent, where volunteers hand out free Bibles and gospel literature and pray with anyone in need. We believe the Great Commission is not optional: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Since this command is given to all Christians, we encourage all of our members to be a part of our outreach program, whether it is at the Gospel Tent or our visitation ministry.
