God has given Rome Baptist Temple a leadership committed to the old paths — the King James Bible, the power of prayer, and the faithful preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Chris Hanks has served this church family since 2021, continuing a legacy that stretches back to 1979, and he and his wife Alicia labor together to see lives changed by the truth of God's Word. Chris & Alicia Hanks
PASTORFor years, Pastor Chris and Alicia Hanks have given their lives to shepherding Rome Baptist Temple with sound doctrine, faithful preaching, and genuine love for this church family. Through prayer, personal visits, and steady leadership, Pastor Chris has poured himself into building a church that honors God and reaches Rome for Christ — and Alicia stands right beside him, serving faithfully every step of the way. Together they've raised five children in the faith, and these days they're enjoying a new season of life as grandparents, watching that same legacy carry forward.

Kyle and his wife, Hannah, faithfully serve the Lord at RBT through music, children's ministries, and outreach — pouring themselves into the next generation and into families throughout our church. God has used them in remarkable ways to reach others with the Gospel, disciple young believers, and strengthen this church family from the inside out.
